Jesús María Pérez Serrano, married to María Candelaria Baca, was living in Belén at the start of the nineteenth century. They had a daughter, María Guadalupe, born 6 May 1813, and a son, José Miguel Antonio, 24 Apr 1818. He was, to all appearances, the son of Francisco Pérez Serrano, Alcalde of Albuquerque in 1782, and brother-in-law of Governor de Anza.
