". . . I joined in matrimony by mutual consent in the neighborhood of San Diego in the houses of Melchora Hernández, Simón de Arroyo, free mulato and native of this city, and Juana de Suleta, also a free mulato, and native of this city, and they entered into true matrimoney.

Simón married María de la Mora, daughter of Bartolomé de la Mora and Juana Morales, on 4 Aug 1684 in Catedral Ciudád de México, Nueva España.¹⁵⁰⁸ (María de la Mora was born about 1663 in Ciudad de Méjico, Nueva España ²⁵².)
