John Lovel, Lord Lovel, son and heir, was aged 30 and more at his father's death; he was a minor in November 1391. In May 1399, he went with the King to Ireland. He was summoned to Parliament, by writs directed Johanni Lovel de Tichmersh, from 26 October 1409 to 26 September 1414. He is said to have married Eleanor, daughter of William Zouche, of Haringworth. He died 19 October 1414.
