Walter, son of Piers and Beatrice, married Agnes, one of the three daughters and coheirs of Simon Fitz Simon, of Brikesworth in Northamptonshire and his wife, Isabel, the daughter and heir of Thomas de Cukeney, founder of the Wellbeck Abbey. His son and heir was named Peter who was followed by Peter's son, another Walter de Fauconberge.
