Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Mathilde de Château-du-Loir was the daughter of Gervais II de Château-du-Loir and his wife Eremburge. She married Helie de la Flèche, son of Jean de la Flèche and his wife Paule du Maine. " Orderic Vitalis names "Mathildem filiam Gervasii…qui Rodeberti Brochardi filius fuit" as wife of Helias [Orderic Vitalis (Chibnall), Vol. V, Book X, p. 229]. The same source records that her dowry consisted of the castles of Château-du-Loir, Mayet, Lucé-le-Grand and Outillé [Orderic Vitalis (Chibnall), Vol. V, Book X, p. 229]."

Mathilde married Helias de la Flèche comté du Maine, Lord of Château-du-Loir, son of Jean de Baugency Seigneur de la Flèche and Paule du Maine. (Helias de la Flèche comté du Maine, Lord of Château-du-Loir died on 11 Jul 1110 and was buried in Saint-Pierre de la Couture.)
