Her parentage and first marriage are confirmed by the Chronicle of Saint-Pierre du Puy which names "comes Gaufridus cognomento Grisogonella…Pontius et Bertrandus eius nepotes…matre eorum Adalaide sorore ipsius"[77]. She married four times, first to Etienne de Brioude, second to Raymond IV Comte de Toulouse, son of Raymond II comte de Toulouse and his wife Gundinildis, thirdly to Louis associate King of the Franks, son of Lothaire, King of the Franks and lastly to Guillaume "le Libérateur" comte d'Arles.
Adélais married Raimund comté de Toulouse, son of Raimund comté de Toulouse and Unknown. (Raimund comté de Toulouse died in Garazo.)
Adélais next married Guillaume Marquis de Provence, son of Boso d’Arles and Constance de Provence. (Guillaume Marquis de Provence was born in 950 in Provence and died in 992 in Avignon, France.)
