Painter states that her marriage portion was the castle of Vouvant [Painter 'The Lords of Lusignan', p. 39]. "Ugo de Liziniaco" renounced rights over "terram…Ioarena" in favour of Nouaillé by undated charter, subscribed by "…Burgundie uxoris sue, Ugonis filii sui, Roberti filii sui, Gaufredi filii sui, Petri filii sui…" [Nouaillé, 214, p. 332].
Hughes married Burgondie comtesse de Rancon et Bourgogne, daughter of Geoffroi de Rancon Seigneur de Taillebourg and Fossifia.160 (Burgondie comtesse de Rancon et Bourgogne was born in 1110 and died after 11 Apr 1169.)
