• Background Information. 81 John Wood was a leather seller, and married Joan Coleson in St. Martin's, 25 Jul 1612, and two of their children were baptized at St. Martin's: Harman, 3 Oct 1613 and John, 24 Dec 1614. There was no doubt that there was a third son named Stephen, and possibly a fourth named Henry.
Johanem (John) sued his brother Harman for lands their father, Nicholas had settled on his youngest son, Richard. Richard died, so John, being the youngest son a chance to gain this land.
