The will of Samuel More (Moore) of the Parish of Much Totham, Essex, England, dated 24 Dec 1615 and proved by his brother Francis Moore, the 2 Feb 1616. This and other wills give us information about Francis Moore's family in England.

Samuel names his sister Sara, her husband Edmund Grinleaf (Greenleaf) of Ipswich and Sara's two children John and Enoch. He name his father, "Enoch More of Haverill, his brother Enoch and his two sister Merry and Judith. Samuel's will states "All the residue of my goods and shattells unto him as well moveable and imoveable I give unto Francis More, my brother who I nominated and ordayn my sole Executor: And lastly I do . . . Nicholas More of Mauldon, my Uncle to be supervisor untio this my will . . ."

Francis Moore, son of Epoch Moore, was baptized 2 Sep 1592. He was the chief heir and executor for his brother, Samuel, then came to New England and was sworn a freeman on 22 May 1639. He was granted land in 1638, His wife, Catherine, came with him to Cambridge. Catherine died 28 Dec 1648. He married, 6 Dec 16 1653, his next wife, Elizabeth Perriman, possibly the widow of Thomas Perriman. Francis died 20 Aug 1671. Elizabeth died 5 Nov 1683.
