The History of the County Palatine and Duchy of Lancaster, Vol. 2, p. 423, "Pedigree of Radclyffe or Radcliffe, of Radcliffe Tower," has Elena, daughter of Richard de Radclyffe, High Sheriff of Lancashire and his first wife Isabella, daughter and heir of Pleasington and alive in 24 Edward III (1368/9), and sister to Thomas Radclyffe, marring, as her third husband, Robert Urswick. ^1530a

• Background Information: Dodsworth [MSS. cliii, fol. 48] states that Richard de Radcliffe of Winmarleigh (living 1407) married the daughter and co-heir of Henry de Pleasington by Isabel his wife.
