Gómez Núñez de Pombeiro was a nobleman of the Kingdom of Leon.

Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands - Gómez Núñez was the son of Nuño Menéndez and Sancha Vegas. He is recorded as a count on 26 Nov 1115 and as governor of fortress of São Cristovão near Cerveira in 1110. He was exiled in 1141, after supporting the Portuguese invasion of Galicia. His wife was Elvira Pérez, the daughter of conde Pedro Fróilaz de Traba and his second wife, condessa Mayor Rodríguez.
