Diego Jiménez de los Cameros was the son of Jimeno Iñíguez and his second wife Endulcia. He married Guiomar Rodríguez, repudiated wife of Fernando Ponce de Cabrera and daughter of Rodrigo Pérez de Traba and his wife Fronilde Fernández.
