Gómez González was the son of Gonzalo Salvadórez and his second wife Sancha Gómez. Count Gómez González was killed in battle Candespina on 26 Oct 1111. He married Urraca Muñoz, a possible daughter of conde Muño González and his wife condese Mayor.

Urraca married Gómez González de Candespina, son of Gonzalo Salvadórez Conde and Sancha Sánchez de Navarra.¹⁵⁷³ (Gómez González de Candespina was born in Castilla, Iberia, died on 26 Oct 1111 and was buried in San Salvador de Oña.)
