"The Nobiliario of Pedro Conde de Barcelos names "Don Rodrigo Alonso, Doña Aldonça Alonso, Doña Teresa Alonso" as the children of King Alfonso IX and "Doña Aldonça Martinez de Silva", and in a later passage records that "Conde Don Pedro Ponce" married "Doña Aldonça Alonso" [Pedro Barcelos, Tit. IV, Reyes de Castilla, 13 p. 9, and Tit. XXI, Ponços, 4, p. 131]. Pedro Ponce was Aldonza's second husband.
