Godfrey de Louvain married, circa 1199, Alice, widow of Ralph de Cornhill, recently deceased, daughter and heir of Robert de Hastings by a woman who was the heiress of the Windsor family, with whom he had ten knights' fees and lands in London, Middlesex, Essex and Suffolk.
