Marilyn Ballard
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Willakenzie Evangelical Church in Eugene for Marilyn J. Ballard of Eugene, who died Oct. 25 of multiple myeloma. She was 81. Burial will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene.
She was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Corvallis, to Charles and Juna Churchill Blair. She married Joel E. Ballard in Seattle on July 4, 1946. He died Jan. 6, 1951.
She attended the University of Washington and was a cashier at EWEB for 30 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Blair Cowden and Laurel Yoder, both of Eugene; a son, Michael Ballard of Mount Vernon, Ore.; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Rest-Haven Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
