Another López Sambrano (Hernán?), husband of an Elena Gómez, who had had the encomienda of Awatobi, was a brother of Andrés. An Hernán Sambrano, Alférez, mentioned in the soldier-escort in 1625, might well be this man. He and Elena had a son Francisco López, and perhaps another, named Diego López.
