• Background Information. 141 Sir Otes Bodrigan, son and heir of Henry, was born 6 Jan 1289/90 at Bodrigan, and bap. there next day. He joined in the rising against the Despensers in 1321/2, but was pardoned. Sir Otes married Magaret. He died aged 41, in 1331, before 10 Oct, when the writ for his IPM is dated. His widow was living in 1340.

Sir John de Walesbreu was married to Joan De Bodrugan, daughter of Sir Otes De Bodrugan by Margaret Chambernoun. [10] Family connections presented as rectors to various churches include her nephew John De Bodrugan, a Sir Reginald Beauchamp, a Roger Beauchamp and a Sir Thomas De Carmynou. Joan died 5 June 1349. [11]
