Juliana Badolf, daughter and coheir in her issue of Isabel de Condet and Hugh Bardolf. She was the 1st wife of Nicholas Poyntz, lord of Tockington and Swell, Gloucester, stewart of Gilbert, Earl of Gloucester, 1213-1230, and keeper of Gloucester Castle, keeper of the Honour of Dunster, son of Pons Fitz Simon, living 1166, lord of Tockington and Swell, county of Gloucester. Juliana and Nicholas were the parents of Sir Hugh Poyntz.

Noted events in his life were:
• Background Information. 141 Nicholas Poyntz, probably son and heir of Pons son of Simon, proffered 300 marks in 1194 to have the King's goodwill. He was keeper of Gloucester Castle circa 1197, and a commissioner to assess tallage in Glos and Bristol, 1199; keeper of the Honor of Dunster, Easter 1199 to Easter 1201. In 1201 he paid 24 marks on 7 fees of the Honor of Gloucester for his scutage and for his exemption from serving for them overseas. He sided with the Barons against King John, and his estates and his son's, amounting together in value to £40 a year, were confiscated before 24 October 1215; but were restored 18 August 1216. He was sometime steward of Gilbert, Earl of Gloucester (1217-30).
Nicholas Poyntz married, 1stly, Juliane, 2nd daughter of Hugh Bardolf, by Isabel his wife, and sister and, in her issue, coheir of Robert Bardolf (died 1225), heir of his brother Hugh (died 1203). Hugh married, 2ndly, before 29 January 1218/9, Joan, relict of Walter de Trailly (dead in 1208-09), and widow of Robert d'Aubigny (died 1216), lord of the barony of Cainhoe, Beds, whose name she retained during her later marriages. Nicholas was presumed to be living 4 April 1222, and died before 2 November 1223. Joan was living in May 1242.
