Sir Thomas Fitz Nicholl was the end of the male line, and second son of Robert Fitz Nicholl. Sir Thomas married Margarett, and in her right, he had the moieties of the Manors of Filton in the hundred Berkeley, and of Harry-Stoke near Bristoll in Gloucestershire. Sir Thomas and Margarett had issue of two daughters, Katherine and Alienor.
