• Background Information. 141 Sir Geoffrey Luttrell son and heir, was born in 1276. He was summoned for Military Service from July 1297 to 21 March 1319, and served in Scotland under the King in 1300 and 1303, and under the Earl of Pembroke in 1306. Neither he nor his successors were summoned to Parliament. In 1324 he was one of the 40 knights in the parts of Kesteven returned by the sheriff upon a writ to summon knights in every shire to repair to Westminster, to confer, &c., with the prelates, earls, barons and peers. In December 1325 he was commissioner of array in Kesteven, but a deputy was named, January 1326, owing to hi's ill health.
Sir Geoffrey Luttrell married Agnes, daughter of Sir Richard Sutton, of Warsop and Sutton-on-Trent, Notts. She died 12 June 1340. Sir Geoofrey Luttrell died 23 May 1345, and was buried at Irnham.
