Edward III, son of Edward II and Isabella of France, King of England, was born 13 Nov 1312 in Windsor Castle and died at Shene Palace on 21 Jun 1377. He married at York, Phillipa of Hainult, born 24 Jun 1311, and died 15 Aug 1369, daugther of William, Count of Hainaut and Holland Zeeland, by Joan, daughter of Charles of France, Count of Valois. Edward III and Philippa were the parents of Thomas of Woodstock, Knight of the Garter, Duke of Gloucester.
