There are tables for both l'Aigle and Crespin families in Daniel Power's The Norman Frontier that was cited by Robert Forrest.

The Crespin succession is as follows:

Gilbert II, living ca 1066
Gilbert III, died 1096/1107, married Hersendis (living 1109/10), possible related to Albert Ribaud
Gilbert IV, living 1120, married Laurentia
Gilbert V, died in or shortly after 1152, married Juliana
Gilbert VI, died at Acre after July 1190/before 25 March 1191, married (1) Eustachia; (2) Eleanor.

Gilbert Tillieres
's wife was Eleanor, the daughter of Robert de Vitre and widow of William Paynell, who died in 1184. Eleanor married thridly William Fitz Patrick, Earl of Salisbury, who died in 1196, by whom she was the mother of Ela, Countess of Salisbury who married William Longespee. Eleanor's fourth husband was Gilbert Malmains, who was serving overseas with English forces in 1199 and 1203 but by 1205 had transferred his allegiance to France [Cokayne, Complete Peerage, 11:379]. He has incorrectly been called the father of Nicholas I Malmains [Cussans, History of Hertfordshire, 3:120], but his place in the pedigree is obscure.
