Ralph de Neville, who had from Walter de Gand (d. 1139) lands in Fordon, Filey, Muston and Righton (which the Countess Alice confirmed to his son Geoffrey); which Ralph, with consent of his wife Hawise and son and heir apparent Geoffrey, made to Rievaulx Abbey a grant of Land in Righton, in the Gand fee of Hummanby, which was confirmed by Gilbert de Gand; and for the soul of his wife Avice, with consent of his son and heir Geoffrey, gave land in Filey to Bridlington Priory. Ralph de Neville founded, before 1164, a priory at Hutton Rudby, Yorks, upon the 'liberum maritagium' of his wife with consent of Adam de Brus, the overlord, and of Arnold de Percy, to whom the service upon her portion was due. Ralph de Neville m. Hawise or Avice, sister of Arnold and Robert de Percy.

Ralph married Hawise de Percy, daughter of Ernald de Percy and Unknown.141 (Hawise de Percy was born about 1115 in Kildale, North Riding, Yorkshire, England and died before 1162.)
