John Talbot, of Richard's Castle, son and heir, was born at Richard's Castle and baptized there in the church of St. Bartholomew, 3 May 1337. His custody and marriage were granted to Isbel, daughter of Edward III, 10 Dec 1356. He was going beyond seas in the company of Lionel Duke of Clarence, 30 Nov 1367, and, with others, was ordered to be ready to go to Ireland on King's service in company with the Earl of March, 5 Nov 1373. He was never summoned to Parliment.
John Talbot married Katherine. John died 18 Feb 1374/5 at the age of 37. Katherine married for a second time between 19 Jan and 12 May 1376, to Sir John Seintclere. She died shortly before 9 Apr 1381.
