James de Neufmarché

Nicholas de Moels married, in or after 1230, Hawise, widow of John de Botreaux (whom she married in 1218), and younger daughter and coheir of James de Newmarch (de Neufmarché), of Cadbury, &c. Somerset. She apparently was living in 1244. He probably died in or shortly after 1264, and was certainly dead before Easter 1271.

The barony of Wynebaud was in the hands of his heir James de Neufmarché. Around the close of John's reign, the baron descended to the two daughters and co-heirs of James de Neufmarché, of whom one (Isabel) married Ralf Russell of Kingston Russell, and the other moiety came to her (Hawise) second husband, Nichols de Moels, and his heirs.
