Aznar was the possible son of Loup Aznar, who was the possible son of Aznar García. Anzar García is the possible son of Aznar Sancho the son of Sancho. Jaurgain states that "Loup Aznar comte de Comminges" was the son of "Aznar II, fils de Garcia" and that he was comte de Comminges from about 910 to about 935 [Jaurgain (1898), p. 163].
