From Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry, p. 273:

Phillip Champernoun, Knight, of Modbury, Deven, Sheriff of Devnonshire, son and heir, born about 1479 (aged 24 in 1503). He married Katherine Carew, daughter of Edmund Carew, Knight, Baron Chrew, by Katherine, daughter and co-heiress of William Huddesfield, Knight. They had two sons, John, Esq. and Arthur, Kntm and six daughters including Joan and Katherine. Sir Philip Chapernoun died at Modbury, Devon 2 Aug 1545, leaving a will dated 1 Aug 1545, proved 5 Feb 1545/6, named his wife Katherine.

Sir Nicholas and Margaret had issue Sir Edmond Carew. Sir Edmond Carew, Knight, married Katerin daughter and one of the heires of Sir William Huddesfield Knight, Attorney General of King Henry VII, and they had issue William, Thomas Carew of Bicklegh, George Carewe of Upton Hilion, Sir Gawen Carewe of Woode Knight, Katerin wife of Sir Philip Champernon, Dorothe first married John Stowell of Cuthelston and second to Sir Hugh Pollard. Sir Edmund Carew died at Tirwin the 5th year of King Henry VIII.
