Helwise de Stuteville

Helewise Stuteville married, as her first husband William II de Lancaster, 6th baron of Kendal and son of William de Lancaster and his first wife. William and Helewise were the parents of Hawise de Lancaster who married Gilbert [Fitz Roger] Fitz Reinfrid.

Helewise de Stuteville married Hugh de Morville as her second husband, forester of Cumberland. Hugh de Morville and Helewise were the parents of Ada de Morville who married Richard de Lucy, son of Reginald de Lucy and Ambel Fitz William.

Helewise de Stuteville married William Fitz Ranulf, Lord of Greystoke, as her third husband. They were parents of Sir Thomas Fitz William, Lord of Greystoke who married Christian de Vipont, daughter of Robert de Vipont of Appleby. ¹⁶⁰

Helwise married William de Lancaster, son of Sir William de Lancaster and Gundreda de Warenne.¹⁶⁰ (William de Lancaster died in 1184 in Kendal, Westmorland, England ⁷³⁸ and was buried in Furness Abbey.)

Helwise next married Hugh de Morville Forester of Cumberland, son of Simon de Morville and Ada d’Engaine.¹⁶⁰ (Hugh de Morville Forester of Cumberland was born about 1138 in Burgh-By-Sands, Cumberland, England and died in 1202-1202 in Knaresborough Castle, West Riding Yorkshire, England.)
