From The Topographer and Genealogists, 1853, Vol. II, p. 130:

"Lucy Tregoze, married John Lord L'Estrange, of Knokyn, in shropshire, sheriff of that county 21 Henry III and Governor of Montreuil, Bruges, and Ellesmere castles. By him she was the mother of John L'Estrange, who perpetuated the line of the Barons l'Estrange, of Knokny."


Lucy married John le Strange Lord of Knockyn, son of John le Strange of Knockin and Unknown. (John le Strange Lord of Knockyn was born about 1190 in Ness And Ches, Shropshire, England 721 and died before 1269 in Knockyn, Warwick, England 721.)
