Bejamin Hammond, son of William and Elizabeth moved to Sandwich, Massachusetts in 1650. There he married Mary Vincent, daughter of John Vincent. John Vincent had been born in England in 1633. There is little evidence of Bejamins whereabouts between he arrived in Boston with his mother in 1634, until his marriage in 1659 with the exception that he was at Yarmouth in 1743. The children of Bejamin Hammond and Mary Vincent children:

The eldest two sons, Sammuel and John, likely moved to Rochester, Massachusetts about 1680. They were followed by their parents and two brothers Nathan and Bejamin Jr. Benjamin Sr. died there in 1703 at the age of 83. Mary Vincent, his wife, died in Rocchester in 1705 at the age of 72.
