Miguel López
- Born: Abt 1700
- Marriage: Juana García de Noriega about 1716 in San Felipe de Neri, Alburquerque, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España
General Notes:
My connection for Miguel and his wife Juana to Diego is due to the fact that Diego and the brothers and sisters whom I've listed on my site were all listed as Coyote on the 1750 Census of Alburquerque. Of those brothers and sister, there are baptismal records for Pedro Ascenzio & Jose Maria de los Dolores López. Here are the records:
Baptismal Record. Pedro Ascenzio López, bt. 3 Jul 1734, son of Miguel López and Juana García, padrinos: Juan Antonio García and Manuela Padilla ~Alburquerque Baptisms, pg. 361
José María de los Dolores López, bt. 23 Mar 1736, son of Miguel López and Juana García ; padrinos: DomingoTórres and Bernarda López ~Alburquerque Baptisms, pg. 349
In the December 2000 issue of the New Mexico Genealogist (page 172), Jacqueline García Luna wrote:
"Alonso García married María Lópes, the likely daughter of Miguel Lópes and Juana García de Noriega, and the sister of Miguel Lópes II, husband of María Manuela de Herrera Martín, and sister of Diego Lópes, husband of Juana Candelaria. Alonzo García married María López, both mulatto and single on 30 Dec 1743 with withnesses Marcial Montoya and Bridida Vallejo present." 40,466
