Hans Hagman was born at Eidberg about 1586, married Susanna Kauffman about 1610 and died at Eidberg 16 April 1655. Susanna was born at Winterthur, 13 August 1587, daughter of Hans Kauffman, the schoolmaster. She died between 1643 and 1646. Five of their children were baptized at Oberwinterthur.

Hans appears in each of the tri-annual censuses of Oberwinterthur from 1634 through 1649 in the same household as his sons, Matthias and Hans. Susanna was still living in 1643 but had died by 1646 when Hans was listed as a widower. His death is recorded in the Oberwinterthur register.

Hans married Susanna Kauffman, daughter of Hans Kauffman and Unknown. (Susanna Kauffman was born in 1857 in Oberinterthur, Canton Zurich, Switzerland, christened on 13 Aug 1587 in Oberinterthur, Canton Zurich, Switzerland and died between 1643 and 1646 in Oberinterthur, Canton Zurich, Switzerland.)
