María Guadalupe Chaves, 25, española, was the legitimate daughter of Miguel Antonio Chaves and the late Antonia Josefa de Baca, citizens of the 3rd plaza of Los Chaves in the Belén jurisdiction.

In Durango on 28 Jan 1803, Bishop Olivares y Benito granted a dispensation on the basis of agusti loci, honesti familiis and pro scandalo. He ordered banns published banns three times. Assuming no new impediment arose, the parish priest was to marry the couple and give them the nuptial blessing.
