Thoroton's History of Nottinghamshire includes the entire poem titled The Staunton's Petygrewe written by a man named Robert Cade on pp. 310-317. For Sir Geoffrey de Staunton:

Sir William Staunton, Knight was next,
Dame Athelin was his wife,
Sir Geoffrey Staunton, Knight, their heire,
Both voide of vice and strife.

. . .

Sir Geffrey tooke Dame Alce to wife,
Four Sons he did beget,
Willyam, Ritcharde, Robert, and John,
And also Margaret.

Robert and John were Persones both
Of Staunton aforesaide,
Margaret was married to Trickingham,
Which cannot be denaide.
