Cristóbal Baca was born about 1698. His first wife was Apolonia de la Vega y Coca, daughter of Miguel de la Vega y Coca and María Ygnacia Montoya, whom he married on 4 Aug 1719 in Bernalillo. After the death of his first wife, Cristóbal married a second time to Manuela Márquez, daughter of Juan Márquez and Josefa Abeyta, on 9 Nov 1734 in San Juan. Cristóbal Baca died on 4 May 1739 in Santa Fé at the age of forty years. He left a will in which he named his parents, both of his wives and all of his fourteen children.
