Tomás García de Noriega
married Juana Hurtado, widow of Cristóbal de Cuéllar, on 7 Jan 1705. While soldering in Santa Fé in 1725, but claiming Albuquerque as his residence, he claimed he was forty years old.

His known children were: Francisca, born 21 Jun 1706, was married to José Gonzáles in 1719; María Luisa, born 12 Aug 1708, was married to Tomás Antonio de Sena in 1723; and Salvador Matías, born 8 Mar 1711, was first married to Catalina Sánchez, and then Margarita Durán y Chávez in 1761.

• Background Information: Tomás García de Noriega was one of the founders of Alburquerque. 509
Tomás first passed muster as part of the military at Bernalillo, 30 Mar 1704. He is listed as having five horses on the 18 Mar 1705 muster of the Presidio de Santa Fé. He was among those soldiers sent to settle Alburquerque in 1706, but shows up in the muster of June 1715 and August 1716 at the Presidio de Santa Fé. Tomás passed muster and participated in the two-month campaign against the Moqui Natives. He was on the military payroll in 1725.
