Robert Tuchet, brother and heir to his elder brother Henry Tuchet succeeded after Henry's death shortly before 8 Jan 1241/42. Robert paid 10 marks relief on 20 Nov 1242 5o obtain his inheritance, and was granted respite of knighthood in 1244. His wife was named Alice and he died 18 Oct 1248 with Alice surviving him.
