Joaquín del Castillo, son of Miguel by his first wife, married Ana María Andrea Vallegjos, by whom he had at least two children, María and Antonio José. María became the wife of Francisco Xavier Cháves in 1799. Antonio José married María Gudalupe Pino on 22 Jun 1810.
Joaquín must have married a second time because his widow upon his death on 18 May 1821, at the age of seventy-eight, was Juana Sánches.
