Felipe de Luna married Bárbara Yturrieta on September 8, 1753, with José de Luna and Rosalía Vallejo as sponsors; Juan Antonio de Chaves and his mother Antonia Baca were padrinos for the velación on September 20.

This pair had quite a large family. The boys were: Francisco, July 6, 1755; Tomás Antonio, December 28, 1765 ; José, who married María Paula D. y Chaves, September 14, 1799; Juan Dionisio, who married Bárbara Antonia Romero, March 23, 1793; Juan, who married María Guadalupe García Jurado, June 15, 1782; Pedro Secundino, who married Joaquina Aguirre, May 23, 1802; Manuel, who married Luisa García, May 21, 1791; and Maríano, who married Bárbara Aragón, February 15, 1789.

Two daughters were: Manuela, who married José Torres in Belén, October 16, 1781; and Guadalupe, born September 19, 1773.

In 1790, their widowed mother, Bárbara Yturrieta, fifty-six years old, was living in the second Plaza of Belén with five sons, ranging from thirty-one down to thirteen years.

Bárbara married Felipe de Luna, son of Miguel de San Juan and Ysabel Montoya, on 11 Sep 1753 in San Augustín de la Isleta, Isleta, Nueva Méjico, Nueva España.³⁴ (Felipe de Luna was born about 1711 and died before 1790 in Los Bacas, Belén, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España.)
