Richard Trott, died about 1571 and married Joanna, who may be the Joanna Trott buried at Otterford, 14 Aug 1577. His names shows up in the Taunton Manor Calendars in Staplegrove in 1510, in Poundisford in 1534 and Otterford in 1527 and 1540. In the register book for 1571, his son Roberts inherits a lease surrendered by his father. His children were:
