Gamel was the son of Adam who was the son of Berulph. There is no records or the names of their wives. Gamel had a son named Adam, which is a name that appears in many later generations. Adam, son of Gamel, was one of the earliest benefactos of the Monastery of Furness, founded by Stephen, Earl of Bologne, before he was made King.
