Beatriz was with her family when they came to New Mexico with the Oñate party in 1598.

Her family were among the Loyalists who stayed in New Mexico.

Beatriz married Hernando de Hinojos, son of Juan Ruiz and Unknown. (Hernando de Hinojos was born in 1562 in Cartaya, Condado de Niebla, Andalusia, España ^252,274 and died before 1632.)
