Bartolomé de Salazar had been Alcalde Mayor of the Zuñi Moqui jurisdriction when he died prior to 1662.~The Origins of New México Families, pg. 101

Bartolomé married María de Hinojos, daughter of Miguel de Hinojos and Zuni Woman. (María de Hinojos was born about 1636 in Zuni Pueblo, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España ²³⁹.)
