Pedro Sánchez was described as have a good stature and a gray beard when he came into New Mexico with Diego de Vargas in 1598. He brought his wife and children along with him. He was 50 year old and the son of Hernán Martín Monroy.

It is not certain if Pedro stayed in New Mexico, but it seems that his daugther, Juana did.
