Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Alan de Craon was the sonof Guy de Craon. "The Liber Vitć of Thorney abbey lists "Aleinus de Crehun, Wido pat[er] eius, Isenbele, Wido, Morize, Gefridus, Mećriel de Belca[mp], Mabilić, Isenbele" [Keats-Rohan 'Domesday People Revisited' (May 2012), p. 18, quoting Thorney Abbey Liber Vitć, fol. 3r, BL Add. MS 40,000.]. Ingulph's Chronicle of the Abbey of Croyland names "Guido Croun, the father of Alan Croun…Seneschal of the royal mansion" [Ingulph's Chronicle, p. 233]. Ingulph's Chronicle of the Abbey of Croyland records that "Alan de Croun…with Muriel his wife and Maurice his eldest son and Matilda their eldest daughter" visited Croyland (dated to 1114) [Ingulph's Chronicle, p. 245]." Alan de Craon married Muriel de Beauchamp, of unknown parentage.


Muriel married Alan de Craon, son of Guy de Craon and Isabelle Fitz Baldric. (Alan de Craon was born about 1096 in /of Freiston, Lincolnshre, England and died in 1155-1156 in Freiston, Lincolnshre, England.)
