Patrick de Chaworth, who in 23 Henry III, being under age, compounded with the king for his own wardship and marriage, paying £500 for the same. In the 29th of the same reign, he received a precept from the crown, whereby he was commanded to use all his power and diligence to annoy the Welsh then in hostility. Patrick married Hawyse, daughter and heir of Sir Thomas de Londres, Lord of Kidwilly, in Wales. Their sons were: Payne, Hervey and Patric, all of whom, in 54 Henry III, joined the Crusade along with Prince Edward to the Holy Land. Their daughters were Eve, who married Tobert Tibetot; and Ann.
