Iago ab Idwal ab Meirig, prince of North Wales from 1021 until 1031. Iago ab Iwal seized posession of the sovereignty of North Wales, upon the death of Llywelyn ab Sitsylt, as being the right heir, and kept it until 1031. In 1031, he was slain in battle by Gruffydd the son of Llywelyn. He left a son call Cynan who carried on the war against Gruffydd.
