Juan González Blas's widow, María López del Castillo, survived him. They had many daughters. They were Catarina, who married Vicente García in 1710 in Bernalillo; Antonia, who married Juan de Tafoya in 1716; Juana, born 30 Jul 1701, who married Pedro Varela in 1716; Prudencia, born 8 May 1704, who maried Antonio de Tafoya, and then Vicente Ginzo; Inez was born in 1703, and married Cristóbal Varela Jaramillo in 1718, and then Baltasar Trujillo in 1728. Valentina, born 4 Nov 1706; and María Quiteria, born 28 May 1708. His known sons were José and Juan II.

Juan González Blas I (the same Juan González Bernal III of the pre-Revolt period) returned in the Vargas Reconquest with his wife, María López del Castillo, to settle in the Alameda district (ONMF, p. 189). Among their children there enumerated, Inez, born in 1703, married Cristóbal (or Juan Antonio) Varela Jaramillo in 1718, and then Baltasar Trujillo in 1728 (DM, 1718, no. 16; 1728, no. 11).
