Robert Fitz Walter, son and heir of Walter de Caen, married Sybil de Chesney (also shown as Chesnei, Cheisney), daughter of Ralf Chesney of Rudham, Norfolk. Robert Fitz Walter was living circa. 1106 and was the founder of the Priory of St. Faith's. Walter was succeeded by his shon, William who used his mother's surname.
